Martinis with the Mayor tonight

Tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mayor Oscar Goodman teams up with Santa Claus.

No, it’s not an election campaign, it’s another Martinis with the Mayor, a networking mixer.

This time the event takes place at Hogs & Heifers (which the movie Coyote Ugly

was modeled after) on 3rd St. downtown, and if you bring a new, unwrapped toy, you’ll get your first drink free. (They don’t say if you’ll get a second drink if you bring a second toy.)

Toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots, which benefits Sunrise Children’s Hospital and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Raffle prizes will also be given away by Santa, whether you’re naughty or nice.
