Latest Poker Scandal...Fact or Fiction?

Captain Tom Franklin

Capt’ Tom Franklin has apparently set a record on 2+2 Forums for longest thread, up to 79 pages last time I looked. Former 2+2 longest thread champion was Dutch Boyd. I can honestly say I have not read either thread in its entirety and I’m not likely to do so. Everything appears to be quite normal and mundane at the WPT Doyle Brunson North American Poker Classic where Capt’ Tom was playing over the weekend. He certainly didn’t appear to be under the kind of stress I would expect from the 2+2 post. I have not provided any details of the post so you will have to read at least the first post before you decide if it is fact or fiction, maybe neither; instead, it could be a simple rant of revenge, maybe a publicity grab, everything bad that happens to me is someone else’s fault, or maybe it is a precise transcript of the events. Do we treat this as a crime scene or not?

Has Dutch Boyd slipped into that ‘assumed’ shady, seedy life of the professional poker player?

No. Boyd was clowning for the camera, he had to borrow the beer bottle from another player, sometimes you can’t even believe what you see.
